Sail Date: Jul 2016

We chose "Highlights of the Med" for the itinery and to experience our second "Thomson" cruise. We sailed on TUI Discovery, basically a floating 3/4 star family style , resort hotel ,fully aware (We researched it!!!)we were not sailing on The Thomson Dream!!!We had a great holiday , enjoying ports of call we specifically wanted, cocktails we loved on AI, great food , always great service from lovely Philipino staff and some of the newer Eastern European staff( TUI has wisely Buddied the newcomers with their Philipino colleagues hoping they will absorb best practice!!!)space in the attractive public areas and a good pool area. As an experienced Thomson cruiser , be advised if you want "the glorious Thomson Dream " do not book "TUI Discovery"--do your research!!! As older folk with nine great grandchildren , for us TUI Discovery was normality but not for all our fellow cruisers. I wish to commend the Captains decision to avoid StRaphael and take us direct to Barcelona for our own comfort.

Cabin Review

Cabin Outside

Perfectly adequate cabin with expected small shower room---TUI!!!!! Upgrade your cubicles and get rid of those horrid shower curtains!!! Wonderful cabin service by the sweet natured , hardworking Mario.
