Our family of ten just returned from a five night cruise to Bermuda on RC Anthem of the Seas. We are experienced cruisers but not on anything as large as Anthem. To accommodate kids and grandkids we upgraded to three smaller suites. The ship is big, really big! It is beautifully finished top to bottom. Our suites were smaller suites but still larger than a standard outside room with balcony and adequate for four. Unless you absolutely need the extra room, our opinion and that of several other suite guests we met was the "Enhanced Program For Suite Guests" was not worth the substantial cost increase.

The crew for the most part were accommodating and friendly, especially our housekeeper. Our cruise was at full capacity, just under 5000 guests plus crew. If you like crowds and standing in line for almost everything, you will love it. Reservations are necessary for everything and you will still stand in lines. Without reservations for dinners, shore excursions, on board activities especially for kids your choices will be limited. This all requires lots of pre cruise planning.

The food was good but rarely great. The Windjammer Buffet was probably the best all around with the largest selection and easy access. Drink packages were very difficult to manage. They require that each guest have their own id card and it must presented to receive each drink, alcohol or soft drink. If one person in your group wants to make a drink run, for everyone, they will need everyone's card and have to sign a tab for each drink. Additionally, most bars are usually three or four deep with guests waiting. It isn't quick!
