We have sailed 5 times with Princess and this was the best cruise we have had in all categories. Boarding the ship was a breeze in Fort Lauderdale. No problems at all getting checked in and to our cabin in 30 minutes. The ship was almost completely sold out with over 3,000 people on board. We were amazed that we didn't find ourselves waiting in long lines to board at any of the ports either.

We had a mini suite on the Dolphin deck (D326) that had plenty of room and a great view, large bathroom with full size tub and shower. This cabin really allowed us to spread out and be comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast in our cabin each morning. Balcony was great, plenty of room. Some folks didn't like the fact that some upper levels of the ship could look into your balcony. This didn't bother us at all. People were very friendly.

Food was great! We had anytime dining and found that to be very enjoyable meeting new people almost each night. We tried to eat dinner each night between 5:45 and 6:15. No problems getting seated they really took care of everyone. Service was very good. We paid the extra $20 per person and ate at Sabatini's on our first sea day. This was well worth the $$ as the food was fantastic! This was an awesome 16 course meal like I have never had before. The food and service here was unbelievable. Well worth the extra $20.. I would recommend this to all.

I don't think we missed any of the shows on board. The dancers were great and well put together. Orchestra was fantastic as well. Here we did have to arrive 20 minutes early considering most shows were full.

Port and Shore Excursions

Port
We did some shopping on our own here. We havent been to cozumel in a number of years and were surprised at how well they have recovered from previous storms. Everything seemed like new and was in great shape.

This was one of the top ports we have sailed to. We took a taxi ($5.US each) to 7 mile beach. Here we walked, enjoyed lunch and went para sailing. This was a new experience and was really a great way to see the beach area while up in a chute. I would recommend this to anyone who has thought about para sailing. I have been to several ports and like the fact that you are taken out by boat to start and end your para sailing trip rather than catching you on land.
Port
This was our only cruise tour package we took. All other ports we did on our own. Here we went to the Sandals resort for the day and had a great time. Pool, hotel and food were all very good. Beach was clean with plenty of chairs. Drinks were great as well.
