Friends and family were going and ask us to go. Overall, we were somewhat disappointed with various aspects of the cruise. In comparison with other cruises that we have gone on, we felt that the food selection in the main dining room was not up to par. The waitstaff were somewhat disappointing also.....orders were wrong, but were corrected, food quality, while not disgusting was below expectations. The main shows were disappointing, once again comparing to all the shows we have seen on previous cruises. We did attend just about all the comedy shows, both "g" rated and "adult" rated and we enjoyed both the comedians that were on as well as all the comedy shows. Cabin was just OK, shower was larger than we anticipated from other cruises, inside of window had multiple nose prints from previous guests, bed felt like a cheap mattress on a wooden board. Also, and the most annoying, the main promenade had extremely foul sewer odor, and they constantly had high speed fans running to try to alleviate the FOUL ODER.........DID NOT HELP AT ALL!!!!! Will not book on the Elation ever again!

Port Reviews

Jacksonville

Check -in went very smoothly

Half Moon Cay

Half Moon Cay was beautiful, the beach and water were beautiful, and the food was OK.....jerk Chicken was so dry I could not eat it, but burgers and sides were good

Nassau

Just went to straw markets and a few other local close to pier shops......local people were a pain, but not unusual, just trying to get ahold of our US dollars.
