Cabin: The Haven Aft-facing Penthouse with Balcony

Another fine sailing with Norwegian Cruise Lines aboard their newest liner, the Norwegian Escape. Arrived at the port of Miami @ 10 am, and was on the ship enjoying a cocktail by noon. Rooms weren't quite ready (as expected) so made our way up to the Spa to secure our weekly pass. $219 for the week, with only 180 slots available. If this is part of your plans, make them early. Had no interest in the Vibe Beach passes, as we were afforded access to the Haven due to our category of Aft Facing Penthouse selection. If you want to enjoy your slice of heaven with a huge balcony this is the destination. Room consisted of a master bedroom and large bathroom. Double sinks, tub, rainfall shower, and toilet room. Suite also comes with an additional shower and toilet in a separate room. Living room with couch, dining table with four chairs. Daily amenities of sweets and snacks, delivered fresh. And that balcony? Small table with two chairs, two large loungers, and an additional large table with 4 chairs. 8 people easily relaxed and room for 8+ standing.

Is the pool area rather full on sea days, You bet, but not enough to complain about, as there are more than a few areas to relax. Spice h2o has a grotto water fall, and plenty of loungers to bask in the sun. A bar is also present for your enjoyment. Find those comfy chairs on the Waterfront deck. A nice quiet area to enjoy the view and nap with a book, or talk with friends. Enjoyed the amenities of the Haven Restaurant, Cagneys Steak House, La Cucina, Le Bistro, Manhattan Room, and the Buffet. If you can't find something to eat and enjoy at the Buffet, you need an examination by a Doctor. Ship is clean, and well cared for. Witnessed constant cleaning daily by a happy staff.

All in all, an excellent time had by all.
