Overall we had a great cruise on the Pride of America. We stayed in the 13016 Penthouse Suite which was a bit smaller than the other suites on the 13 floor, but a big upgrade to the original 8th floor family suite we had originally planned for 2 adults and 2 teenage kids. There was a pull down double bed, pullout couch and king side bed. The balcony was huge and bigger than the room. The bathroom was big (nice shower). Everyday they brought us fresh fruit (too much), but besides that we did not heavily use the butler service.

Overall the food on the ship was good, but not awesome. I did have a few great dinners, one bad meal (Mahi Mahi) and all the others were good. The Italian restaurant was very good. Being able to eat at Cagney's for breakfast/lunch was a big upgrade to the buffet (thought we only did this a couple times). We often brought the breakfast back to our balcony. Alcohol on the ship is very expensive and a big money maker obviously.

A big negative was having to avoid the back of the ship due to the open smoking section there. The rear eating area behind the buffet was awesome, but some smoke came down from upstairs. They should confine/eliminate the smoking area.
