Sail Date: Jun 2016

This was my second cruise ever and my wife's first. We took it as a late honeymoon and a first-anniversary vacation. No kids. We had an amazing time and are eagerly anticipating our next cruise -- whenever it may be, but hopefully sooner than later.

Everything was great. The ship is second-to-none. There was ALWAYS something to do aboard the ship, both indoors and outdoors. Outside, there were way more deck chairs than ever needed in the pool area. The lines for the zip-line and flow-rider (surfing/body-boarding) were never ridiculous. Mini-golf was always available. The running track around the 5th deck was great, too: outdoors running, but minimally in the harsh sun. Inside, you could sit and people-watch just about anywhere: the Promendade, the Boardwalk, Central Park (technically, those last two are outside, but...). The card room was decently stocked at the start of the cruise (though the Scrabble games were all mixed up).

Our stateroom was a handicapped-accessible ocean-view balcony room. Because of accessibility, EVERYTHING was bigger. The room itself is wider, making it feel HUGE. And, the balcony is on the bump-out, so it's even bigger than big. The only thing to be careful of is the slight ramps into the bathroom and out to the balcony. I can't tell you how many times we tripped on them!

Cabin Review

Cabin other

This cabin is actually class AX, a handicap accessible Ocean-View Balcony. The room is amazing. It is extra wide (to accommodate a wheelchair) and the balcony has a bump-out as well making it extra-extra big. *SO* much room in this stateroom. You will NOT feel cramped AT ALL.

Port Reviews

Labadee

It was slow season, so Allure was the only ship docked. We enjoyed just hanging out on the beach and in the water. There were a lot of people, but it didn't feel crowded.
