I may be the only person who didn't enjoy this cruise and i accept some responsibility for this. The ship itself is beautiful; if you are a couple or family travelling together, it is perfect. if you are single and don't drink and aren't american then you will feel sorely left out. My travelling companion cancelled at the last minute due to hospital admission, so I was left on my own to enjoy French Polynesia. My cabin AX209 had the gangway outside it every day. I thought this should have been advised to me prior to booking at over $8000AUD. I found the food, except for breakfast, to be not overly suitable for vegetarians. I did not participate in the BBQ events so cannot comment on these. The best island culturally was Huahine and for scenery Moorea. i enjoyed watching Mutiny on the Bounty for historical reference. I wish that the private event at Bora Bora did not cancel out touring the island that evening. I would have preferred to spend more time on Bora Bora itself and more time also on Moorea. I did not do any tours at Tahaa due to motion sickness, so I have no idea the merits of that island.
