The cruise was cheap, offering warmer weather in our Victorian winter. I read a lot about the makeover and expected the ship to be finished. We had a huge problem with workers chipping away paint and painting outside our window for much of the cruise. Complaining got an apology and less noise but the work continued. We were offered $100 each on board credit on a future cruise when I spoke to the P& O rep. after the cruise but I doubt whether we will use it.
I liked the décor of the pantry area and thought the food there was fine. The pantry area had too many coffee tables and high bench type seating areas. We were rarely able to gain a normal table and chairs.
I was disappointed not to have a bar fridge for my water. It was not a huge issue for me but many people ware complaining that they did not have a fridge for medication which had to be bought to their room when needed. To be fair when I reread the fine print it did state there was no fridge. I had come to expect one after travelling with several other cruise lines.
Great space . Bath over shower was terrible. The grout joining bath to shower was mouldy I would have liked a bar fridge.
