Too big a ship for our tastes. Too small venues for number of passengers.

Oasis, 28 May 2016 Big ship!!!

We answered an E-Mail offer from RCL that offered double points if we booked within a certain time period. We had not cruised on that large of a ship and we were offered the choice of a Jr. suite which also gave two points per day. 28 points for a 7 day cruise tempted us so we booked it.

We had late seating in the dining room and went to dinner the first nite. Our seapass card had our cabin number where the table number should have been. After some confusion it was determined that our table was the same as the cabin number. Nobody knew why. We ordered our meal and were talking to our table mates when the waiter informed us that they were out of our choice. We ordered a second choice ate it and never went back. that has never happened on any other cruise. We were saved when because of our suite we were allowed th eat in Coastal Kitchen on deck 17. Usually JR suites are not allowed but we could eat dinner only if we made reservations each day. It was great and we ate evening meals there the remainder of the cruise.

Junior Suite with Balcony

Cabin JS

Very nice, the walk-in closet and the large bathtub shower were almost worth the extra cost.
