The cruise line provided excellent service and a terrific itinerary. From the moment of embarkation until we left a week later, Adventure of the Seas provided an exceptional home away from home. The food seemed to be even better than on recent cruises and the personnel onboard offered outstanding service, both in the dining room and the cabin. We participated in a Cruise Critic Meeting while on the cruise and found a group of 10 people at the afternoon event, although about 30 had signed up. We attributed this to the fact that the meet was scheduled on a day when we were in port, but just departing. It was the concencus that some passengers returned late from their shore experiences and did not remember to attend.

The shore excursions were good, offering adventure and history. The stop in Antigua featured the best stingray encounter, although the island's infrastructure left much to be desired. The roads were crowded and in need of repair, which made our trip to the adventure last over an hour each way.
