Since we live within a half-hour of Cape Liberty, Bayonne, my husband and I booked Anthem of the Seas with friends before she started her voyages. Even though this ship had several unfortunate incidents, our voyage went without any problems. Check -in in Bayonne was really quick and wonderful. The food was not disappointing. We alternated between four dining rooms.

Entertainment on this ship is excellent. You will have no disappointments. Every day, the Captain made announcements from the bridge. He was both informative and entertaining. Make sure you go on the Northstar at sea; it is a must. Book the puzzle room; our group escaped with 4 minutes to spare. It was fun. The bumper cars reminded us of the Jersey shore. There are venues to dance or just listen to music.

There are no parades and on board fanfare, and crew members are pleasant and helpful. Without boring anyone with daily details, if you are looking for a great, relaxing time, don't hesitate to cruise on Anthem of the Seas.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D8

Our cabin was slightly off mid ship. This cabin has a lot of storage for all that you bring. Although the bathroom is small, it's enough room for most passengers. We saw our cabin steward several times a day. He was pleasant, and did a fantastic job making our time in our cabin very pleasant and happy. The balcony is just the right size. On a day at sea, it's a nice, quiet place to relax with a book or just stare out at the ocean or watch a sail away.

Port Reviews

Bayonne (Cape Liberty)

Great port to leave on a cruise. Beautiful view of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island which are nearby. View of NYC across the bay. Everyone anticipates the ship clearing the Verazzano Narrows Bridge to the open sea (approz 14 feet).

Labadee

Simple review. It's a great place to just relax.

San Juan

With our friends, we took an hour walk around Old San Juan. It was raining so, we didn't stay out long
