Love Carnival ... fun cruises even for two old 'fogies'! Our third trip to Alaska and we never tire of the beauty. The weather was great on the first cruise after the winter months (70 during the day ... 45 in the evenings.) Food and Entertainment was great ... even had my wife on the stage doing the disco! I am 'legally blind' and Carnival management makes certain that I am comfortable at all stages of the cruise. This was our 8th cruise on Carnival and we look forward to "staying with Carnival". After flying to Seattle, we took the 4 hour Amtrak train to Vancouver which was great ... very clean, good scenery, comfortable (choose business class) and a nice dining car. We spent 3 days, prior to the cruise, in Vancouver and had great tours throughout the city. We booked all tours, plane & train reservations, hotel reservation and the Carnival cruise 'online' and everything worked out perfectly.

Upgraded from balcony to ocean suite ... very nice. Cabin steward was very attentive and always called us by our first names.
