We chose this for the itinerary - was very interested in the stops in Italy, and stayed in Rome at the end for 3 more days.

No hassle getting on the ship in Barcelona - lines were nonexistent. There are so many activities on board - there was always something to do. We only used the Princess excursion in Genoa to the Cinque Terre; the rest were all privately arranged. The shows were just ok. But the trivia, and other games with the cruise staff were a lot of fun. The only day at sea was very windy so hard to sit by the pool. We had a group of 6 with 3 balcony cabins in a row. You never felt like you were on a ship with that many passengers, as things were very spread out. We did anytime dining and never had to wait for a table, whether it was all 6 of us or not. Horizon buffet was more expansive - probably because this ship is a larger one and always had good selections. The entertainment in the main piazza each night was better than in the nightclub. That same band played at the pool during the day at sea also. We got off the ship in Rome early, as we had a private driver waiting for us - again no issues, was easy to find the luggage and go to the meeting point.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Balcony cabin on Marina deck midship - only issue is there are no stairs, just elevators just outside our door. I believe this will be fixed in the near future.
