Cabin: Central Park View Stateroom with Balcony

My wife and I needed a little vacation and love cruising so we booked a next-month cruise on the Oasis of the Seas. We have never done a mega ship before and had real mis-givings but thought we ought to see what it was like.

The experience exceeded out expectations. The variety of things to do was amazing and all the ones we came across were free: the merry-go-round, rock wall, wave rider, zip-line, and ice skating. There are numerous crew members involved in making these activities available!

While I didn't think we would like the show ticket requirement, it worked out well and there were usually plenty of seats available for those willing to stand in line (drink in hand) for a few minutes before the shows.

Central Park View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin C1

This is a normal RCI balcony cabin (which are great), but when on our balcony, thousands of people could see us (even from the elevator landings) so don't count on any privacy at all. Moreover, with the view not really changing it wasn't worth the money.
