We chose this cruise as we did an Eastern Europe tour with evergreen first and the joined the river cruise , we have had friends and family who have done river cruises and enjoyed it . We felt it was a perfect time for us as we had been travelling for a month before we joined this trip , it was nice to unpack and relax and enjoy the river, day tours and optional tours if you wished to do them . We were the youngest on the trip ( 50 ) and we travelled with another couple , the majority of people were in their 60 s . The age difference wasn't an issue . The cruise catered for all ages and there were active activities on shore for people wishing to hike or cycle , bikes are in board . The staff were incredible , the food was amazing , drinks - all local ( beef and wine ) are included at lunch 12-2 and dinner 7-9 . If you wish to get a drinks package you can for extra money but really it's not necessary , the cabins were of a good size and plenty of room for your luggage , the room was spotless with clean towels daily . There is a small line to hang clothes on in the shower , we had a panorama suite in the middle of the ship with the full length window and would rebook this again , there is a pool on the rear of the ship . When we sailed we were extremely fortunate to have a captain who was able to get us through the river when it was at a high level . The cruise director SHERYL was superb , we can't speak highly enough of the whole crew . Their talent show was very entertaining too
