We chose this cruise because we love Princess lines and also to check out the "small ship experience" prior to booking a higher end cruise line with smaller vessels and the big bucks.
We loved EVERYTHING about our experience with the Pacific P., as it felt as though we were in a floating intimate Inn.
What stands out the most in summary: the library. Stunning and the pictures posted and Princess's website do not do this incredible library justice. Next, the level of personalized service and happy personnel !
GREAT end cabin with no common bed-wall - so peaceful and quiet (I am not a fan of over zealous "domestic noises" LOL !); The obstructed view was a tiny edge of hull - this had ZERO affect on the view or brightness of our stateroom. Also it was very neat to be at the side/end of the ship for viewing perspective. Would book this cabin again in a heart-beat for privacy and price.
We embarked via the Princess transfer and had to wait quite a bit for their shuttle but we did arrive at 10 AM.
We did our own pubbing and had a blast ! Highly recommend Bankers and all the pubs in that area - and great fish and chips too ! Beautiful walkable city and super friendly folks - lucky to live there !
Great clean, beautiful and friendly city !!!!!!!! Always a pleasure to stay prior or after our cruises !
