We chose this cruise because it was convenient for us since we live in Boston. We had gone on the Getaway last summer and had an amazing time. The Dawn was smaller and didn't have as much to offer as the Getaway, ex. waterslides, rope course, miniature golf, rock climbing wall. Although the shows on the Dawn were better. We were very impressed with all the shows. They also had a lot of activities throughout the day so that was great. We were not very impressed with the food. The one restaurant we really loved was Bamboo. Everything we ordered there was delicious. Some complaints we had were the crew was not the friendliest compared to our last cruise. Also our room steward was very unfriendly whereas our last room steward knew all our names and could not do enough for us. This one if you asked for a blanket they were all out or if you asked for beach towels for the excursions "I already gave you some" which she didn't. Were not impressed at all with her. The waiters and waitresses were great though although a few of the hostesses could be pretty rude. Overall it was a good cruise but I wouldn't go on that ship again!!
We took a tour on our own of the island. We took a mini bus and our driver took us around the entire island. It took about 7 hours. Our driver was awesome. He took us to forts, the smallest drawbridge, Gibbs Lighthouse, the Crystal Caves and three beaches. It was amazing. Bermuda is gorgeous!!
