Ushuaia under a full moon.
Antarctica on our wedding anniversary.
Penguins in Port Stanley, Falkland Islands.

This cruise was excellent. The reason for this cruise was our wedding aniversary. The ship, although old, is still in great shape. We enjoyed the amenities and the shows on the ship, but most of all we enjoyed the itinerary on this cruise: Buenos Aires, Ushuaia, Cape Horn, Falkland Islands, Antarctica (Schollart Channel, Paradise Bay, Guerlache Strait, Elephant Island) and Montevideo. Due to bad weather we visited Deception Island instead of Puerto Madryn. Ushuaia under a full moon looked stunning, and we were delighted with the penguins in Port Stanley. But the highlight of this cruise was Antarctica! We spent our anniversary watching lost of icebergs and marine life. We even had a few minutes of snow, something we never had before on a cruise ship. It was magical! We enjoyed the lectures by Mickey Live and others. We particularly liked that they offered a map of Antarctica with proceeds to breast cancer; Mickey Live was terrific organizing this and a photo contest; the itinerary was plotted on the map which Captain Frantzis signed.

Cabin Review

Aqua Class

Cabin A2

All amenities in the cabin worked. We were spoiled by the Aqua Class service. The balcony was much enjoyed during the Antarctica days despite the cold weather.

Port Reviews

Buenos Aires

We flew in a few days before the cruise to enjoy Buenos Aires on our own. We recommend this city, lots to see and do.
