I have wanted to go to St. Petersburg to see the Hermitage Museum for years and this cruise afforded me the opportunity to spend 3 whole days in St. Petersburg. We visited Peterhof Palace and loved the gardens & fountains. I was also excited to see Amsterdam & Berlin for the first time in 50 years. A total surprise was the quaint town of Tallinn, Estonia. Would love to go back there sometime in the future. It was the President's cruise and everything was incredible. As a treat for the Captains Club members on this special cruise we had a chance to see a Russian ballet while in St. Petersburg thanks to Celebrity. The ship was in tiptop shape and our veranda cabin was wonderful. The staff was extremely helpful. The breakfast room service was always on time and still hot when it arrived and the food in the restaurants was very good. My husband loved the classic menu so he could have shrimp cocktail (his favorite appetizer) every night. We also ate at two of the specialty restaurants (Tuscan Grill & Qzine). The Tuscan Grill was delicious but I would advise you to do half orders instead of full. It is so easy to order too much food. Qzine had very unique presentations of the food and was very good. Again, be careful because it is easy to over order. There was always plenty to do on the ship from Bingo to Trivia Games to Entertainers in the theater & bars. This was one of the best cruises my husband & I have ever taken and I would highly recommend this cruise to all my family & friends.
We loved the location of the cabin and the balcony. I would have liked to have a couple of drawers to store clothes in but we were able to hang almost everything in the closet. Luckily my husband is really tall and was able to put his things in the cabinet above the bed. The bathroom was spacious. We enjoyed the couch & table next to the windows.
