This was my first European river cruise. We were switched to Scenic due to a fire on originally booked Emerald ship. I am totally spoiled! Scenic Amber is Scenic's newest ship and it is lovely. Service, food, excursions, all top notch. Excursions have 'gentle' option if you aren't up to walking uphill or lots of stairs. On most days there were several choices of excursions and some were hard to choose between as wanted to do both! Entertainment was nice, local talent brought aboard to entertain and left off at the next lock. Violinist, Sand painter, Zither artist, folk dancers, very enjoyable. Had a Deluxe Balcony cabin and there is lots of storage, bathroom nice size. Our trip was fantastic and I would travel on Scenic again. Extended an extra night at the beginning in Amsterdam, and we should have extended an extra night in Budapest. Now we know for next time!
