Cabin: Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

This was our first ever cruise and our travel agent recommended Jewel of the Seas as it was a mid sized ship. Embarkation was fast and very easy and we were onboard within 25 minutes. Our stateroom wasn't ready until 1pm so we headed to Windjammer for lunch. Out first impressions were great, friendly staff, huge variety of food and lots of space.

At 1pm our room was ready, we were vey impressed, it was spacious and spotless and we thought the balcony was particularly well sized. Our stateroom attendant kept our room pristine and we enjoyed the towel animals every evening. The level of service on board was second to none.

We had all of our meals at Windjammer, they do different themes every evening, we found the Asian night the best of all. The variety and choice of foods was excellent and we never had any problems finding a table at any time of the day.
