Upon checking my account on the second day I noticed an involuntary donation to a charity of their choice which really annoyed me. I managed to have it reversed. The amount didn't concern me just that it was in the conditions we had to sign when embarking and I would have preferred a choice - of charity or not donating. Note to self always read conditions.
Plenty of things to do and places to eat. However the food at Plantation was not as good as the average pub meal - lacking in flavour. Waterfront restaurant food was good, but young staff at times were rude. A cultural thing? More training needed I think.
We had three spa treatments each and by the third was bracing for the hard sell that came at the end. A bit off putting. The services were very good though and had a great haircut, pedicure and hot stone massage. Professionally executed.
The cabin was really clean and plenty big enough for my daughter and myself. Lots of storage space. Curtains could be thicker, so as not to wake up too early. Great to have such a big window in cabin. While chasing a shoe under the bed I found a sign that said " yes we do clean under beds" which was pretty funny, I thought. The cabin was always cleaned quickly and staff most obliging. Two single beds were comfortable and it was lovely to be rocked to sleep.
