Even though the Empress of the Seas is a small ship, the quality of service is excellent! Our experiences with dining were enjoyable as our servers remembered what our favorites were on the menu and even challenged us to a few tricks. The Windjammer Café had a variety of delicious food. The Royal Theater had a variety of shows and offered two evening performances. All shows were worthy of our time. Our stateroom was cleaned daily and visited twice by housekeeping, who graciously made the bed and provided fresh towels. The shore excursion to swim with the stingrays that we booked on-line was awesome! The shopping talks prior to the port visit were valuable in saving us time. We were able to get back to the ship, shower, and be ready for our 6:00 dinner time! The Compass, which is your daily guide to activities on-board, was most appreciated as it was delivered to your room prior to the next day. It also contained valuable information for the upcoming port and a map. Recommend purchasing a beverage package depending on your drink preferences. This was easy and we did not incur any additional fees or surprises at the end of our cruise. I also recommend purchasing the ground transportation to and from the airport. We arrived in plenty of time to enjoy the benefits on our first day and arrive plenty of time for our flight back home. A word of caution, if you should decided to purchase Air2Sea through Royal Caribbean, be sure to check the flight time back home is practical. We were required to leave the ship by 9am, but our flight back home was not until 10pm. Overall, we enjoyed the cruise.

Cabin Review

Cabin C

Our cabin was ready with our desired preference. Cabin was promptly cleaned daily and provided with fresh linens and towels.

Port Reviews

Key West

I went to a few stores recommended by the shopping guide on board the ship. We ate lunch at the one and only Sloppy Joe's famous restaurant-n-bar. This is a MUST stop! Food was delicious and live entertainment was enjoyable.
