This cruise was a anniversary gift to ourselves as we both have wanted to go on an Alaskan cruise. We work with a travel agent who guided us to Oceania, when she understood our desires for something small and somewhat casual yet luxurious. The trip was sensational with great food options, wonderful entertainment and fabulous service. Embarkation and disembarkation were amazingly quick and very well organized (neither was more than 15 minutes.) Food options were great with 3 primary restaurants and two speciality restaurants, which were excellent although booking requires pre-trip planning (note: this function did not work on the website at the time we were booking, so I would recommend you call the client support desk before you leave.) We did not buy the wine/drink packages and instead used our on-board credit, which worked out fine although the way the program operates was confusing to begin with, all worked out. The entertainment team was really far beyond what we expected; very talented, full of energy and fun. The cruise director was very special, she has been doing this for a long time and her professionalism was very obvious. The entire crew was friendly, courteous and very helpful. The captain made sure we could experience a glacier up close (200 meters). This was wonderful for us as the Tracy Arm glacier we were supposed to see was not approachable due to excessive ice caving,so he found another he felt to be a good alternative. In fact, we were in closer than some of the small expedition style cruises. As for excursions, we booked one through our travel agent instead of the cruise line and spent other times exploring the ports. It was a wonderful trip and we will definitely be setting sail with Oceania in the future.

Cabin Review

Concierge Level Veranda Stateroom

Cabin A3

Cabin is very small (216sf) but highly efficient. Storage is quite good. We had 3 suitcases and were able to store everything without any difficulty. Bathroom is very compact (1 person at a time,) but functional. The cabin stewardess and team was very attentive and personable. Bed was wonderful!!
