So disappointed with this cruise, after booking months in advance because we wanted to go to Sardinia and Corsica the itinerary was change apparently because the Sardinia port was under construction had had not been finished and the Corsica port was to small for the ship to dock so why was it added to the itinerary in the first place?

Boarding the ship was like always quick and easy with friendly helpful port staff.

When we got to our cabin the first thing I checked was the mattress "topper" as on the last cruse on the Independence of the seas this was filthy it was a sponge honeycomb type topper and the indents in the sponge were filled with human hairs and dust and goodness knows what else, but this cabin had a "flat" topper which was cleanish. The loo was not good at all and very dirty looking, a disgusting old dirty loo brush too, on occasions the loo would not flush although this was seen to right away. Our balcony was not cleaned in our two week stay, hand prints on the mirror stayed there for our stay. Being Platinum cruisers and having ONE robe in our Cabin between us last time we cruised we were wondering what we'd get this time NOTHING AT ALL.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E3

Basic, no cushions on the sofa like we use to get, petty I know but a nice touch. No added extras for a platinum cruiser, Lack of cleaning, Toilet had poop behind the seat for a few days (YUK) so used the loos on the decks. Balcony not cleaned in 14 days.

They did wash the corridor carpets mid cruise but then the corridors smelt like wet dog for a few days. The Ships lost it's charm and it's standards.WHAT A SHAME!
