We cruised on the American Queen last October on the Tennessee/Columbia Rivers and enjoyed it very much.
The positives of this cruise was the size of the room and its furnishing (other than the twin beds!), the service, the shore excusions and all the guides.
There are several suggestions I would like to make:

Wonderful cabin, but we were very disappointed with twin beds. The beds could not be pushed together and the purser gave us a bottle of wine to compensate...very nice, but hardly the same idea! We were very disappointed with this aspect of our cruise.
