Frist and foremost, let me start by saying that Royal Caribbean has an excellent fleet of ships! Designed to create the ultimate wow factor. When I first boarded the ship, I was elated with the grandeur of the ship, however this spell quickly wore off as I encountered the staff onboard. The staff onboard were friendly but didn't seem to have any customer service training. Room service, forget it! My first encounter came on the first night aboard the ship, not able to find a menu, I called and asked what can be ordered from room service, the attendant told me look at the television for the menu and said he was busy and would call me back. He called back an hour later, we ordered the food which came another hour later and then it was the wrong food. We ordered from them at least 7 times (slow learners we were) and not one order was correct and the attendants always told us, "you didn't order that." Paid more for the luggage valet service at the end of the cruise and I'm not sure that there is enough space or time to tell you about this horrifying experience. As one of the other members of the group sated, they couldn't get a room service order right, you expected them to get your luggage to you?! This could have been a great trip but it was plagued with poor customer service and a lack of attention to details. Did not feel like I got what I paid for, thought I would have a better experience by going on one of the more high end cruise lines. I plan to send Royal Caribbean a more detailed letter with all the pitfalls of this trip. I went on Carnival before, paid half the price I paid for this cruise and had a better overall experience.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E1

My room was a great size and furnishing was acceptable, however I discovered that there was a used tampon container under my bed 2 days before disembarking. I notified one of the housekeepers and the morning before I left the room, I made a final scan for any items that we may be leaving behind, and went back under the bed and the tampon was still under the bed. :(

Port Reviews

Labadee

It was basically Royal Caribbean's island playground, didn't see the culture or any historical aspect of the island. Area was manned by the ship's staff and food was provided by the ship. Would have liked to see more of the island.

Cozumel

just walked around the pier area (I had been to Cozumel before so I didn't take an excursion), great party atmosphere.

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

This was just where we came onto the ship.
