This is a difficult one to give an overall rating for : the cruise ship, staff, service, food entertainment were fantastic, but the ports that we stopped not very good! FIrstly the dawn princess, yes she may be a bit tired but she has a lot of ambience. I liked a smaller ship easier to get to mid ship. Only traditional dinning is available on the ship, and we loved it ! Our waitress and assistant were absolutely fantastic, we had marvellous meals, great friendly service throughout the ship. Getting on and off the ship was easy even with the number of tenders we had to catch. The entertainment and activities were good, as one comes to expect from princess. I would define tilt cruise with princess cruises again, but would not recommend the Indonesia cruise. The ports were in my view unremarkable , with the exception of Komodo island - I will add however if you are prepared to spend time travelling by bus to temple or the volcano the stops may be more interesting, but as for the attractions close to the ports unremarkable, and princess could have lifted there game in terms of the information they provided on the stops : in my view not well investigated! Demographics onboard, mainly pensioners, the disco was always empty with a handful of middle aged hanging out in the wheelhouse bar and disco, and a handful of twenty something's. But it was good to socialise with all!
Deck 9 - not bad at all, close to the lifts, but no noise from the lifts, only noise was when boats for tender were being released. Easy walking distance to mid ship. Down side laundromat was quite far , as their was only one on the deck!
We did our own thing it's very pretty
Good set up for tourists
We spent the day at the Sheraton resort , good for swimming and sun
