My wife & I chose to take our teenage son on this family cruise out of New Orleans. We had a very smooth boarding process. We settled in quickly & enjoyed the ship immediately. The staff was amazing-- totally dedicated & wonderful to us the whole trip. We enjoyed our at Sea Days on the Boat all most more than our Port Days. We enjoyed snorkeling in Cozumel & an excursion to see the ruins in Progreso. Our guide was Victor, who is a Mayan, he had lots of great info for us. We didn't have any of the bad experiences that we had read about on this site. We were really doubting our decision of picking this cruise & this ship after reading all the awful reviews. But, after such wonderful experiences we decided that a trip is what you make of it-- we went to have fun & we did!
The Paris dining room waiter's at table 629-- they were so much fun, professional, & amazing. We loved the food-- the deserts were awesome!!
Late night Room service was AMAZING!!!!
Beds & pillows were great! We had the best stateroom steward! Plenty of storage room, closet room, hangers, & pretty much as expected.
We boarded & left the ship very smoothly-- everything went well in New Orleans.
We took a taxi for $10 each way to a bar called the Money Bar. It was excellent food with a private beach area that we brought our own snorkeling stuff & enjoyed the water. They also rent everything there too. Chairs, tables, beach, wonderful service & food-- we ate & had beers all for like $50 bucks. The whole thing cost us like $75 bucks for the 3 of us. Great day!!
