We chose this cruise because of the price and number of days fit our schedule. We flew into an stayed in Ft Lauderdale as we prefer that area over Miami, we stayed at the W on the beach and had a great time, enjoying both the pool and ocean. An Uber ride from Ft Lauderdale Beach to the Port of Miami is about $40, not bad. We arrived at the Port at 11 am and were sitting in the Windjammer at 11:20, by far the easiest embarkation we have experienced in 20 cruises, disembarkation was even quicker if you can believe that is possible.

The ship is definitely small but is well laid out an is very easy to get around. The ship is very clean and well maintained, only the overall size tips you off that this is an older ship. The only negative is the size of the pool but somehow it sufficed. The were a few small areas that the AC was not adequate but for the most part the ship was comfortable even in July heat.

We were in an inside cabin that was adequate for our needs and not much smaller than the cabin we had on Oasis, the shower was a little tight but got the job done and the water pressure and temperature was better than most. The room did not have a fridge which only hindered us slightly. We did not see our room steward often but the room was always taken care of and always clean an sanitized.
