We chose this cruise because we have sailed on it before, and we live in New Jersey. this cruise is just easy to get to! We sailed without our children the week of July 4. I must say that the cruise line did an EXCELLENT job of honoring July 4. There was patriotic music, a bar b q and an honor to our military personnel. We could not have asked or expected the cruise line to do any more. The chefs were bar be quin in what seemed like 120 degrees, and did it all with a smile. This cruise was geared toward adults, there were childrenon board, but not as many as there have been when we have cruised the last few weeks of August. The entertainment was good, the new crusie director Eddy Jenkins was funny, and the crew was happy and warm,. The captain was warm, his entire staff was warm, including Roy Avidot, who was also very funny!! The human resource department on this ship must work hard to keep the crew happy because happy crew make for happy passengers.. Embarkation and Debarkation were fast and easy. Elite status had cocktail hour every night. It is a very sedated and laid back cruise that was perfect for us as couple. I had a phenomenal massage in the spa by Olena. It was a Thai massage/deep tissue massage with no pressure to purchase products at the end. The ship was immaculately clean, but the ship could use some updating.
The cabin was VERY CLEAN, our stateroom attendant Simon was great and nice.
