Cabin: Deluxe Ocean-View Verandah Stateroom

Had good luck with Holland in the past. We got cabin 4174, on the stern above the dining area. Leaving Seattle the noise in the cabin was deafening, a constant pounding, very loud. This created a vibration which shook anything in the room adding to the noise. This continued for three days. We could not sleep at all. After a call to customer service, they said they had no more rooms. After three days they put us in a verandah cabin deck 5 mid ships. They gave us each $75 to make up for our discomfort. Do not rent this cabin.

We were told rough seas were the cause.

Balance of the cruise was nice, staff is great, shows were fun, food and drinks good.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean-View Verandah Stateroom

Cabin VB

Cabin terrible, noisy, could not sleep. Heavy pounding from engines, or heavy seas pounded and shook the room for the three days we slept (or did not sleep) there
