Sail Date: Jun 2016

We wanted to take a trip to the Carib. whith out paying an arm & leg so my wife and I (mid. 40s) chose to sail on the Fascination. It's an older ship that really needs to be upgraded or replaced. There was construction going on while we were onboard which I found very annoying and wish I had been notified before hand. I've cruise before on other lines, Carnival cost less but you get what you pay for. The food was so/so at best. I ate a lot of deli sandwiches this week and might have actually lost weight. Room stewards and dining staff were very nice and worked very hard. Shows were a bit cheesy but entertaining. Walked out of one of the adult comedy shows. It was just way over the top with profanity, etc. Felipe the CD was great, I did have an issue with Kris with a K, the assist. CD. He snapped at my wife for asking a simple question about debarkation. I started to get very angry and my wife had to pull me away before I lost it. Maybe he was having a bad day but he should think about taking a Dale Carnegie customer relationship class.
