Don't waste your time boarding early, you will have to wait hours (like a hotel) to get on board, nor use checked baggage, it takes hours in most cases, till night before they are delivered during embarking. Debarking - do not think priority means much, you will be in rows waiting... with tons of other passenger, people who did not wait simply got off the elevator and right into the line off the ship. Also, checked baggage during the last night prior to entering home port will delay you for hours in customs waiting. So travel light, have your luggage with you and carry it on. If you do check your luggage, be sure you don't need anything important out of it. Your wine or cans of soda etc. must be carried on and not checked, they will take it and sell/drink it whatever, you won’t get that back, I promise you that.

Good things: Food, we paid for seated dining and did not have a desire to use it at all, so save money when booking that, free food and drinks everywhere... also do not purchase any specialties, bubbles or liquor package... you won't use it often enough to validate the cost - UNLESS you just hug bars - and there was a couple.

The ship was very clean inside and out, a lot of people were barefoot over the ship--- uggg but that's them! Too many photographers, and sell pitches. Art was worth the time, Guy's Burgers was worth the trip, and Good eats served great food (buffet) and pizza 24 hours. We enjoyed the trip overall but we have a mixed review. So overall, for what we spent, we could have saved half. Also we booked through a travel agency whom promised onboard cash, didn't get it and now they have to send a check or refund... we did lots of homework, etc. and still ran into the customs nightmare, from start to finish. Wish they could be removed out the picture, they will ruin your vision with yelling, screaming, and welcomes that are meaningless. I understand, trust me I do, 24 years of sailing but somebody PLEASE do away with those old folks in customs. Lastly, I'm 99.9% percent sure, someone scanned my credit card either at the parking check in going to the cruise ship on Erata St. garage or in the terminal gift necklace place because I was charged for a hotel room in new Orleans best western the same night I'm sailing to Mexico... I've never been to N.O. leisurely - who knew. So check this out, I'm driving up to the garage, about to put my credit card in the machine which is right there, and like from nowhere, one of the attendants takes my card and scans it for me into the kiosk. Now I'm thinking it was her, she was rudely attending her iPhone or whatever it was and all of a sudden jumps up to help to put my card in the kiosk... Really, but maybe it wasn't her... yeah right. Anyway, I may or may not have the hotel check, it depends, and it’s still fresh.

Cabin Review

Grand Suite

Cabin GS

Had some damage/doors missing but it was clean and cleaned well. Room had plenty of towels, glasses, etc. I had my steward empty the mini bar and used it for water, etc.

For the kids, they can do better to offer them something besides the pool... not much inside for them and it’s too hot for putt putt or basketball... I have girls; they O2 or teen center is way too small. They sent the kids out on scavenger hunts by themselves over the ship... little kids now looking for turtles and crap.
