We chose this cruise because of the destinations/ports... which WERE amazing. The ship however was not. The Carnival Glory is outdated, rusted, dirty, smells, poorly maintained, lacks entertainment.. the list goes on. The cruise director, Eric, needs to be replaced, as the entertainment options were HORRIBLE. The service, at the bars, at the restaurants, at the pool areas, even more HORRIBLE. My daughter waited at the bar (because no one was coming around to service us) for a soda for over 7-10 minutes every time. She was so discouraged, she gave up on ordering drinks, which defeated the purpose of attaining the soda package for her. When we found lounge chairs to lay on, there was empty food plates, dirty cups, etc, which we had to remove and clean up ourselves in order to be able to sit. After 10 or 11pm, other than a few TIRED comedy shows, there really isn't ANY entertainment. We book a yearly cruise with a party of around 16 or so. Needless to say, we will NOT NOT NOT be using Carnival for our future trips.
