The Haven makes the whole cruise experience great. As a family of six, traveling with children and grandchildren, we found the whole process wonderful. From the time of embarkation all through the entire cruise, the professionalism and helpful, courteous nature of the all the Norweigan Getaway crew impressed me. First of all, flying into Miami airport, there was a clearly identifiable area for Norweigan passengers to get their transportation to the ship, along with the fact that they then transported all of the luggage directly from the airport. The embarkation process was incredibly smooth, with a separate check in area for Haven guests, as well as a good assortment of snacks and drinks while waiting to board the ship. No hassles of waiting in line. When we got onto the ship, which was around 11:30 am, everything was ready for us, including our cabins.

The Haven staff were all superb, including the room stewards, butlers, concierge, and bar, restaurant staff. They had all six of us memorized on a first name basis within a day, which always helps make you feel at home. The package we got through booking in the Haven was also superb, where we had dining, unlimited drinks for the adults, and 250 minutes of free internet, along with a $50 dollar credit towards each land tour we booked. Well worth the extra expense of the Haven.

The food in the Haven for all meals was superb, as was the meal service. The Dining package also allowed us to get excellent food at Moderno, Cagneys, and Le Bistro. They even discounted the meal cost at the Illusionarium show as Haven guests, as well as giving us the best choice of seats for the show. Getting on and off the ship was a breeze, especially since Haven guests seem to be given first preference for everything. Even with the tendering process in Belize, they had a Haven representative with a sign allowing you to "cut the line" for the returning tenders to the ship. Disembarkation was also a breeze, Haven guests get a private escort off the ship.
