Having been on seven cruises with Thomson's this was the first one on the Majesty. As usual the crew were first class, as were the entertainers and guest comedian. We paid extra to be on deck six in a double cabin which was good value for money apart from the fact it had a double bed which meant the cabin had to be re organised and we couldn't get unpacked and settled in until gone 7pm.

However, the biggest let down by far was the food in both the Resturant and Buffet areas which was not particularly hot, was totally repetitious and bland to the point of being tasteless, which thoroughly spoiled the cruise for both my wife and myself. Having previously been on cruises been on cruises on the Thomson Celebration, Dream and Spirit, plus the Royal Caribbean, P&O, NCL, Costa and Princess lines i can honestly say this is the worst food we have had the misfortune to encounter.

Cabin Review

Cabin outside deluxe

Cabin stewards brilliant as was the cabin, apart from having to wait until 7pm to occupy it due to re organising it from a double to two single bed capacity.
