Overall Carnival offers a average cruise for an average price. The staff is overworked and under trained. it is very obvious that the cruise line cuts every corner to save money. The worst experience is walking past the casino to get to the restaurant. They allow smoking there and the stench is unbearable. We love to gamble and would spend a good deal of money in the casino If we could breath in there. But for some reason the cruise lines think the smokers are their best customer.

Long lines to disembark because only two of the four exits are open. Again this is a cost cutting measure. Very hot standing in long lines to reboard the ship at port.

Food was good and very much enjoyed the Chef's Table. Would recommend spending the $75 for that experience. Also recommend searching for a good bartender. They are all NOT created equal.

Captain's Suite

Nice new big room at the front of the ship. Very comfortable. But no extra amentity for booking the largest and most expensive room on the ship.
