Splurged on suite, both for extra room and perks web site advised we would receive - so we paid more than double high end cabin rates. Loved our room steward and restaurant maitre d, waiter and assistant waiter. Most employees unaware of perks granted with suite. Stood in line most of time only to have to "educate" person in front of line with a suite comes preferred seating and line skipping, etc. At times we received no special treatment and received blank stare. We were told to come back later and wait in line at Da Vinci dining room as we had no reservations. After waiting 45 minutes for next seating and standing in a 20 minute line we again tried to tell hostess at front we were suite and had been advised preferred seating (to no avail). At entry port we were put in preferred line that went nowhere only to be told to go back and get in regular line. Princess should make separate entry point for all suite services (at restaurants, shows, etc.) that are "manned" by someone to assist at all times so suite passenger are not made to feel like "jerks" by cutting into lines.

Ship center has cappuccino bar, bars and small shops all overlapping into tiny overcrowded space. Cappuccino shop staff yelled multiple times to direct passengers where "order here" line was and "pick up" line was. There are signs - at eye level on counter - so if anyone is standing in front you cant see them. My husband was berated and lectured by buffet manager as he did not use liquid alcohol gel. We understand the need, he had just washed his hands as the alcohol gel wreaks havoc with his skin. He was actually "followed" around buffet by the entry manager who lectured him about using the alcohol gel.

Food is OK to slightly below par. We have had much better on other lines. No early off or priority line to re-board at ports. Why did we pay this much for "priority suite service" that does not exist? We were able to disembark early with a preferred meeting place. Multiple times we had written instructions for meeting places that were incorrect. At times a second paper arrived advising another location.
