Sail Date: Jun 2016

My dear husband (DH) and I chose this cruise to celebrate our 33rd wedding anniversary. Summer is our best time of year to travel, based on our job demands the rest of the year.

DH and I have sailed on multiple cruises, starting with our honeymoon. This was our 18th cruise. We have taken some alone, and some with our kids, once they were in the double digits regarding their ages (a boy and a girl). For this cruise, we traveled as a couple, as our kids are now 27 and 23 (we did take them with us a year ago on a cruise).

We chose the Celebrity Summit because it is not a "mega ship," as we were on the Liberty of the Seas (Royal Caribbean) last year with our grown children, and it felt a bit large for our tastes. Though it is a beautiful ship. We had sailed on the Summit at least one time in the past few years, and liked its rather intimate size. We were elated when we found out after booking that we would be the only ship in port at Kings Wharf during the time we would be in Bermuda!
