We choose this cruise to celebrate my mother-in-laws 70th birthday as it was her dream to see Hawaii and this cruise allows you the perfect taste of each island. My husband and would better know what to do if we returned for another visit to Hawaii in the future.

The organization of the cruise is very well done from embarkation through disembarkation. As long as you follow the cruise line guidelines, you will have no issues. The stop at each port ran like a well-oiled machine and at each port are plenty of transportation options for your visit. The ship itself went through a recent remodel and looks great from top to bottom.

My one complaint and the reason I only gave 4 stars was because we had specifically discussed with NCL when we booked our cruise our desire for connected balcony rooms. They did have a connected balcony but the doors can no longer be opened between balconies due to the safety concern of the door swinging open and hitting someone ( as we were told by our room steward). We were not told this when we booked the cruise and as a matter of fact, it was used as a selling point for us. It did not ruin our cruise but was a disappointment overall.

View from the balcony was wonderful as we approached each island in the early morning. Only complaint is the balcony between our connected rooms was no longer allowed to be opened. We were not told this when we booked the cruise and we had specifically inquired about wanting rooms with the connected balcony.
