The best way to see the Greek Egean islands. Entertainment onboard - bar music, night shows - were very high quality. Exceptional group of singers from Cuba at the Eros Lounge and Bar. Dining was ok, but not exceptional. Only one restaurant was open, with very limited menu a la carte. Cabin was ok, and service acceptable.

The shore excursions were partly interesting; some were a must go - Efes ruins as an example, other were optional, as the Santorini excursions You can do on your own both excursions(Oia and Volcano with bath in thermal springs) in the time alloted for Santorini, at half price. Tip: Disembark fast, as soon as permited, buy on the pier a ticket for Oia by boat with return to Fira by bus, visit Oia for 2 hours, take the 12.00 bus to Fira, short visit of Fira - 1 hour, descend to port by cable and buy the trip to volcano from the port which departs at 14.00 and comes back at 16.00 and you still have 1 hour to spend till departure.

Other excursions were definitely a no. The Symi excursion - a 500 m trip to the other side of the harbor, to a taverna in full sun with no shadow, to see 4 girls doing some dubious dancing - the onboard dancers were way better - and eat some, if you can in the heat of the sun. Read more
