I have sailed on 14 previous cruises. I understand that things have changed, but what I experienced was nuts. I am also the kind of traveler that goes with the flow. I know things aren't always perfect. But starting with boarding things were nuts. When we were boarding they had a system that while the idea was great the execution was nuts. They boarded by group #'s. That was fine, but when they ran out of group #'s they recycled the #'s. That's fine, but then people that just got to the area could board right away because their #'s had already been called. Mean while the last group waited over an hour. They should have gone through the #'s then when recycling them made those people wait.
On the ship - drinks were different prices depending where you got them. The food on the buffet was COLD & not too much food.
I took a tour in every port of call. I booked them based on the fact I have problems walking. One tour was for people with mobility problems. Before I could get my ticket I had to go to the Shore office. They asked me if I could walk 30 steps into a store. I said yes. BUT they forgot to tell us that we had a long walk from the ship to the pier and then a long walk to the bus. So why the question for 30 steps. I would estimate we walked about 1/2 mile before getting on the bus.
