I took the #7 bus from Dockyard to Horseshoe Bay Beach. This is about a 30 minute bus ride. Just purchase a token for the ride there and a token for the ride back from the terminal just after exiting the ship. It is free to enter this beach area. If you want a chair or umbrellas, these are available to rent at the beach for $15-20. I believe you can rent 2 chairs and 1 umbrella for $40 total. I just used the cruise ship towel and stayed in the warm water almost the entire time :-)
