This was a charter cruise with a particular group, and I was a staff member with the group. There were no children aboard this trip. While I didn't explore the departure city before boarding, embarkation and disembarkation were very well organized and went smoothly. The ship staff did a marvelous job adapting the schedule to things beyond their control, such as the river flooding in some areas and the lock workers striking one day. The food was always excellent, and the service was exemplary. Really, I can't say enough about how professional, welcoming, efficient, and friendly the staff were. I enjoyed the excursions - walking or biking tours, and multiple choices per day. The group itself provided most of the on-board entertainment and events. While I was not one of them, others greatly enjoyed the late-night music and dancing! The boat itself was luxurious, and always well maintained. I would definitely go again!
