We wanted to travel to Asia during the Australian winter and this cruise suited our requirements. The numerous destinations throughout Japan, South Korea and Taiwan appeared to be interesting and we were keen to try Princess Cruises after a disappointing experience on Celebrity Equinox for our previous vacation.

Unlike Celebrity, the ship was clean and disease free for the duration of the cruise and this made for a much more pleasant vacation than on Celebrity. The crew were all friendly and efficient and we were 100% satisfied with the ship's facilities. The dining room experience was a bit average with the meal portion sizes being very small and the menu was average to say the least. The buffet was excellent with a wide range of choices. The only fault with the cabin was that it was below the buffet and at 4am every morning we were woken by trolleys trundelling back and forth.
