We chose this cruise because we have always cruised with thomsons and also the itinerary was one which we wanted. Tui seems to be a bit of a poor relation to Thomson cruises. Although the ship is newer than the other fleet it lacks the same atmosphere. The atrium is very nice but there isn't enough seating at busy times. Also it would be nice to have a quiet bar where you could have a conversation without shouting. There seems to be a lot of wasted space on deck 5 overlooking the atrium where they Could have some extra seating. The live room was very cold so needed something warm on. The shows as always were excellent and there is plenty of seating. There is not enough waiters in the bars and a lot of them seem to have tunnel vision. We had a cabin with a balcony which was nice but heard that the ones without were bigger. Hardly any draw space. The double bed was comfortable. We had trouble every day with toilet flush having to use the public one. We went to the Kora la restaurant and it was very nice and the staff were very friendly and attentive,. We tried to book the surf and turf but it was fully booked all week. The 47 restaurant was always too busy with queues and waiting time and the Italian which was very nice had a restricted menu as it was only changed twice a week. Hopefully they will take on board negative comments. We enjoyed the cruise as there was some good points as well. Unless it was the itinerary I wanted would not choose this ship again.
