My wife wanted to go to Alaska. She booked it and I'm glad she did. From the moment we got on the Airplane to Seattle from Santa Ana it could not have been better. We were TSA Pre-Check so that line was quick. Flight was as flights are these days a little cramped. Picked up our luggage and turned around and our shuttle to the hotel was standing behind us. Nice trip to the hotel which turned out to be outstanding. They had umbrellas available for guests and spent a bit of time directing us to interesting places. Had a wonderful lunch then off to the Space Needle. Wonderful views of just about everywhere. Stopped at the store to get our two bottles of wine for the cruise and off to dinner and bed.

The next morning we got up and had breakfast. Then went to pack and check out for our ride to the ship. Our reservation for the shuttle was at 11:30 I believe but since everyone was there we left about 10:30. Was worried about being able to get on the ship but in true Princess fashion we walked right up to get our room cards and sat for about 10 min and then we were off to our cabin. Painless. Our cabin (Mini Suite on Emerald) was ready so we put some things down and headed to explore and eat lunch. This is kind of the way the whole cruise went. Food was outstanding even in the Lido. Chef's table was a beautiful experience to be done again. Crown Grill was wonderful. I can go on but I will say this was the best of all my 15+ cruises ever. We met some great people since we always shared a table at meals and the crew members we met were polite and caring. They seemed to love their jobs.

Loved it so much we heard about the LA inside passage cruise and here we go again.

Seattle

We got there early enough so that lunch was in order then off to the Space Needle. At the top you get wonderful views of Seattle and the surrounding area.

Ketchikan

Was pouring down rain so we actually walked our way around town. it actually didn't feel cold just a little damp. Saw a lot of the town and we're looking forward to returning..
