I really used to love Celebrity, the level of service from the personnel onboard was so overwhelmingly friendly and the food used to be phenomenal. However, this last cruise to the Med did not leave me with a feeling of being well looked after and taken care of but more of a this is all part of the routine from week to week.

We booked a Concierge Class cabin but really got none of the former benefits or even the promised benefits. No ice, only canapés on certain days, no choice of pillow, tattered linens, stained linens, disgusting smells in the cabin, rather annoying and somewhat disrespectful cabin steward and really bad food in the Oceanview Café and Tuscan Grille.

The ports and the cruise itinerary were great, good live music and cocktails but the service just wasn't there for the rest of the ship. It makes me sad to see a once great cruise line begin to fade like Princess has. There are not enough staff and the one's there are overworked to the point of being abrupt and short with guests.
